Hi folks,
Thanks for subscribing to the InnerLife newsletter list. This is to let you all know that we have begun moving on from the GDC phase. We have a potential (small) island-based building location at Tavura, and we will hold a meeting Friday, April 29, 6pm Linden Time on location to look it over and talk about possibilities. If you can possibly make the meeting, please do. IM Komuso Tokugawa or Nekokami Dragonfly for a TP. A log will be posted to the InnerLife website after the meeting.
In other news, we've been having some interesting, if sparse, discussions at the website and in Second Life over the past couple of weeks about potential aspects of the InnerLife project. Current Forum threads at our website (http://gaeacoop.org/InnerLife) include beta testing, locations such as underwater settings, what constitutes a good gathering/community area, updates on the MindSurfer (EEG) interface, and suggestions for "oracular" activities. Many potential activities have also been suggested and described in our Forum areas since the website was launched two months ago, so if you haven't had a chance to stop in yet, we encourage you to check out our Forum areas and post your thoughts.
Our current poll asks, "What kind of biofeedback input are you most interested in?" and the results are interesting so far:
EEG devices pulled ahead of "All of the above" for the first time this week. I find this especially interesting in that EEG devices are the most expensive of those described, and I wonder how many people took that into account when voting in the poll. (In a previous poll, the Wild Divine Light Stone was indicated as the most commonly owned device among respondents.) If you haven't yet voted, you might want to hop on over and let us know what you think. Suggestions for our next poll are very welcome; please email dalton_il [at] gaeacoop.org with ideas.
I hope to "see" you all in Tavarua tomorrow night!
Peace,
Elizabeth/Nekokami
